On the 15th of January, the Lodge of Discoveries again enjoyed, an excellent day of fellowship, friendship and tradition. We held a Lodge Meeting where we initiated a new Brother, enlarging the masonic family, in a ceremony conducted with the usual sense of unity, purpose and with all Brethren focused on providing our new member with the best experience possible.
A moment he will hopefully cherish for the rest of his life.
We also had the pleasure to see the return of our long-time absent Brother, Alfred, due to illness and we delighted by how his health is improving and how he is fighting. An example to us all.
The night concluded at the Festive Board, with the traditional mix between laughter, good company and ritual; a genuine enjoyment filled the room. It was the perfect end to an already perfect day with everyone together in harmony. A great masonic journey and a wonderful celebration of our shared fraternity by the members of all four UGLE lodges in Portugal in attendance.
