Following a long established yearly custom, on the 21st April 2026 a number of members (and former members) of the Group of Lodges of Portugal travelled to attend the Annual Investiture Meeting of the District Grand Lodge of Gibraltar.
On this occasion, the party was led by W. Bro. Allan Hogsden, PAGDC, officially representing the Group, who reports:
“The meeting saw the re-appointment of the District Grand Master of Gibraltar, Right Worshipful Brother Derek Rowland Tilbury, who then appointed an invested the rest of his District team for the forthcoming year.
This year was particularly special as we were honoured by the presence of the Right Worshipful Brother George Pipon Francis, Past Assistant Grand Master.
Another honourable attendance was by the newly appointed Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Spain – Very Worshipful Brother Sean Parsons Herrera.
The evening gave us an excellent ceremony followed by a most convivial Festive Board, enjoyed by all.”
