Throughout the Masonic Year 2025–2026, the Lodge of Discoveries nº 9409 had the privilege of supporting Morning Smile with Constança, helping a remarkable young girl and her family continue their journey with hope, courage and resilience.

One of the fundamental pillars of Freemasonry is Service. Whether through participation in community initiatives, fundraising for charitable causes, or volunteering with public and community organisations, service to others lies at the very heart of Freemasonry. Our members make meaningful contributions by freely giving their time, resources and skills for the benefit of society.
Inspired by these values and faithful to its spirit of fraternity and charity, the Lodge of Discoveries nº 9409 is actively committed to supporting its local community, identifying and embracing causes whose human and social significance merit our attention and assistance.
During the Masonic Year 2025–2026, we chose to support Morning Smile with Constança, a cause that has touched our hearts deeply. Through our modest contribution, we feel privileged to play a small part in helping Constança and her family continue their journey with hope, determination and confidence.
Yet, more important than the material value of the support provided is the opportunity to help make a difference in Constança’s daily life and to see her continue to greet each new day with a smile. It is this privilege that fills us with gratitude.
To serve is, above all, to put fraternity into action and to transform our values into tangible acts of compassion, kindness and solidarity.

Your financial support will cover 2 months of therapies. Two whole months of holding the bar, physiotherapy, exercises, little steps and smiles.
For me, 2 months of therapy means stronger bones, steadier little legs and more chances to get closer to walking. It means hope. Courage. Resilience.
Your gesture may seem modest. To me it is huge. It is service turned into action. It is fraternity. It is compassion. It is proof that even the smallest act of kindness leaves a mark forever.
You showed that when we unite for a common purpose, we bring hope and smiles where they are needed most.
